I have been in cooperation with Muodonmuutos since 2000, when I came to Sinituote, although Muodonmuutos has been cooperating with Sinituote since the late 1980s.

We have benefited from the Muodonmuutos service in such a way that the products look good.

With Muodonmuutos, product and production design have gone hand in hand: we have in close cooperation found solutions, that that work in our production. It is, of course, very important that we have been able to make cost-effective products.

A good example of a successful design is the SINI broom and dustpan set, which has been on the market for over 20 years. Muodonmuutos designed the original model, and now it has been subjected to a facelift. It is one of our best-selling products. It is a good indicator in business that if the product sells well, the design has also been successful. The functionality and appearance of the product must match. It has to be effective in production in order to be manufactured at competitive prices. The broom and dustpan set hasn’t been a one-year hit wonder, but the original design has been so good that it’s carried all the way to this day.

After a long period of cooperation, we are beginning to know each other’s practices quite well. The proposals that are being made to us are usually already close to the final product. Muodonmuutos already knows what is possible in our production.

Sometimes there have been some really urgent cases, and it has been good that Muodonmuutos has taken initiative to move things forward. In many cases, for example, they have already ordered the prototypes when it has been known that we have an urgent schedule. You don’t always have time to take care of everything yourself, and then it’s good to use common sense. There is an understanding what needs to be done to move forward with a project.

It’s easy to get along with the people of Muodonmuutos. They are receptive, and yet they dare to express their differing opinions. It’s easy to deal with a small business when there is flexibility. In fact, all aspects of our cooperation have worked well, which is why Muodonmuutos has been our main designer for so long.
